Spirulina aids the reparation damage tissues, increases organ function and energy levels, while also helping to aid digestion by increasing intestinal flora such as lactobacillus and bifidus. In addition, Spirulina is alkalizing and because many foods ingested in today’s diet are highly-acidic, choosing alkalizing Spirulina will counteract acidic levels, thereby supporting a more robust and effective immune system.

Comprised of 60% vegetable protein, which is great news for vegetarians and vegans who sometimes need to take protein supplements in place of the meat they do not eat. It’s very easy to digest as well, which makes it ideal for older people who have a more delicate constitution. It’s also great for young children who require more nutrition as they grow.

Helps With PMS:

Spirulina contains a high amount of Gamma-linolenic acid, sometimes referred to as GLA. GLA has been known to be of particular benefit to women, and is found in other more commonly known items such as evening primrose oil and black currants. GLA is also present in mother’s milk, and can ease the symptoms of PMS, as well as improve the Health Benefits Of Spirulina Powderquality of the skin.
